Anti-Corruption

                                      The Government of Tamil Nadu constituted the Directorate of Vigilance and Anti-Corruption in 1964 and the State Vigilance Commission in 1965.The Government on the major administrative problem of prevention of corruption in Public Services in general and the manner in which an individual case of corruption. 


                   The Government of Tamil Nadu set up the Directorate of Vigilance and Anti-Corruption (DVAC) as a separate Department as a first organised measure towards tackling corruption in public administration.

                                  The central vigilance commission has set up a toll free ANTI CORRUPTION helpline to resolve problems related to unnecessary lingering of work in any department due to demand for undue favours or gratification by public servants.
